Commissioned Work - Custom Artwork
Fluid Abstract Art is not art that is precise to only hard forms and lines.
Fluid art is a technique used with acrylic paints where as a runny or thin consistency, designed to flow and spread easily without sacrificing color intensity, ideal for pouring or dribbling paint, rather than applying it with a brush. Fluid art is for the mind to imagine visually a form, a shape, an objects that others may not see… it’s a mind trip for your spirit and soul.
Abstract art uses visual language of shape, form, color and line to create a composition which may exist with a degree of independence from visual references in the world.
Quote from El Greco: "The language of art is celestial in origin and can only be understood by the chosen."
"What speaks to you?"
Commissioned/Custom Artwork requests are taken by filling out the below "Request Custom Artwork" form. The next step will be to set up a conference video call to go over the details and have a conversation about your art visions.
When the preliminary design/concept of the composition idea is given, i.e. colors, metallic, neon, iridescent, glow-in-the-dark acrylic paints and the size of the artwork has to be considered along with the style and if you want texture to your painting, etc. I will consult with you as I am creating to with you to see how the process is going and if there are tweaks needed in your art piece.
Techniques I use are the Kiss Pour, Cloud Pour, Tree Ring, Ribbon Pour, Dutch Pour (Blown paint), Straight Pour, Flip Cup, Swipes, Blended Background with fluid accents and Wing Pour/Waterfall Ring Pours. I also layer techniques to give depth and texture, this technique is called Paint Skin Collaging.
Having the understanding that something seen before cannot be recreated, however it can have similar movements, will help with the realistic vision of your final abstract artwork. All of my works are unique fluid abstract creations and you will have a One-of-a-Kind Art piece like no other.
Things to consider when requesting custom artwork:
How Big/What Size of your wall would you like your custom artwork to hang?
An accent wall without furniture on that wall may call for an minimalist piece of artwork, i.e. Negative Edge with Ribbon Pour or a focal point Flip Cup.
Colors, do not have to match with the room you want to hang your painting. You can choose colors that bring you Joy and gives the feeling you want when you are in that room.
If you want to frame your artwork, that would determine if I use a standard canvas (3/4" Thick) vs. a gallery wrapped canvas (1-1/2 Thick, which does not have to be framed due to the thickness of the sides)
